Florian 'Katzi' Katzmeier

Katzi is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab, working within the crisscross origami team. He studied for his PhD in Physics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He is highly interested in molecular/micro robotics and finding creative hardware/software solutions to nano-engineering problems.

He is also a big fan of German beers (in particular wheat beer), loves a good sarcastic email and has recently found it necessary to start baking his own bread to survive in the US.
